Has anyone every broken a bone in there foot on here? I was trying to get my fiance out of his chair and he is a bigger guy, but I didn't realize my foot was under the chair. I can still walk on it, it just hurts really bad. It swelled and bruised almost immediately after I did it. It was my two little toes on my right foot and some of the area under it. Well now my whole foot is swollen and I have only been on it once when I went to the bathroom. As I said I can walk on it, well more like limp on it. I just hate to go to ER.

put some frozen peas on it keep it up and see what happens in next 24hrs..if it little toe not alot they can do other than strap it..if no go down or gets worse then you need e.r

I iced quite a bit last night 20 mins on and 20 mins off and it hurts more today, not sure about the swelling though.

I landed wrong and broke a tiny bone on the top of my foot -- right at the "bump" at the top of the arch -- and couldn't put any weight on it all without screaming in pain. And I have a high pain threshold. I had to head to the ER for x-rays and eventually a cast. I agree with Alice -- if you can't walk on it, you need to head to the ER. And in the meantime, lie down and elevate your foot on pillows so it's higher than your chest. That will help the swelling go down a bit.

I can walk on it, it just hurts really bad to do so. I nearly went into tears though when I did it. Chairs hurt.

Did you take any motrin or tylonel?

Do you have any Arnica?

I've broken many toes and fingers. I would personally take Motrin, keep with the ice 15 on 15 off and slather it in arnica. Since you can walk on it, it's probably not broken. I've bent my pinkie toe back so far I thought I broke it, made me cry and limp around for a few hours. But it wasn't broken. Just swollen for a few days.

Arnica helps promote healing through increased circulation. It's great for bumps and bruises. I keep a tube around the house for all the things the kids bump into. But it've used it a lot for myself.

During one of my seizures I fell just right and landed on my funny bone, it still zings daily, but I went through an entire tube of Arnica gel in 2 weeks just working to heal my elbow. The motrin did little to nothing for that spot.

I'd look for it on LuckyVitamin.com

I hope you are feeling better. I've had two broken toes. It was painful, but I could walk (probably hobble would be a better word) I also came out with bad bruising. Because of where it was all they could do was strap it and let it heal on its own.
