I feel you with that one!
Since I don't drive and there's no public transportation where I live it's hard to get out of the house and when I do it's almost always with my husband or family. It's not easy to find people to hang out with because of this. Most times when I go places it's to the grocery store, restaurant or mall and that's not a place that you can find friends.
I'm good at talking to people and when we do go places, like bars which isn't often, I always wind up talking to people and having a good time with them but I never see them again after that.

If you are asking about how to friend someone on the CWE website I believe you click on "Control Panel" above, then when in "Control Panel" along the left, under "Networking", click on "Contacts and Friends" .
When in "Contacts and Friends" enter a user name into the space under "Add a Member to Your List..." and click on "Add Friend" button to add a friend and send a friend request.
I think that is it.

You can also click on the persons name in a thread. A window will drop down then click on 'View public profile'. On the right hand side of the screen there is a window that says 'Friends'. Click on 'Befriend persons name'. This will send a message to the person saying that you want to be their friend and they will click yes or no.

I find that problematic to I think just send them private message.i got 9 messages for some reason they won't open.If specific maybe get there email but then you got make it public..I will try and friend you then you maybe able use that as Spring bord but as I having problems may not work...I get confused and muddled
I dont even have a face book acct, but theres a solid starting place.
This is a great online community. Ive made a few here, people to message and threads to check up on.
