Hi,
I have a cute, active, friendly 4 year old daughter that has Dravet Syndrome. I found this website by searching online for information regarding swimming as a trigger to seizures. I was looking for advice/comments from other's experiences. I'm always looking for information to help me in this unknown journey of ours. She is currently in swim lessons in an indoor pool and had a seizure after class 2 wks ago as we were getting dressed and she had one yesterday as the teacher was ending her class. She was still in the water at the time so I had to take her from the teacher and lay her down. A bit scary but she is in private lessons so the teacher always has a hand on her.
I'm thinking I should give up the swim lessons for now. Should I?
