My tittle says it all husband tripped on rug at work tore inside or aka dissected carotid artery...turned to stroke 24 hrs later. Now in sept had a lg stroke scary put on keppra... Major behavioral changes. Is it the seizure or the keppra. Won't eat or drink for last 2 days. Sleeping 23 hours a day. No eye contact won't talk. Has a death wish...help if you can

I would put my bet on the new problems being caused by medication. Though I am not a medical doctor, it just is a huge red flag to me. Not sure why they put him on meds only after one seizure. His body is obviously under a lot of stress.

If it were my husband, I would put him on a healing diet, and reduce additional stress.
Get additional opinions, and trust your instincts.
 
Keppra is known for potentially affecting mood -- especially causing rage, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Get in touch with your husband's doctor ASAP, and ask to change medications.
