I read that on a shirt recently. I think it was at Wal-Mart...

Either way, Oh My Goshness! I am leaving in 4 days and I am so not even close to being ready! I have to do laundry, I have to clean, I have to get the oil changed in my car, I have to buy new tires, I need to go grocery shopping, I need to get my meds refilled, I need to go pick up my dogs shot records for the kennel, I need to call and verify the kennel reservation (reservation already made, just need to verify it), I need to go get my vacation hair did, I have softball games X2 (very important by the way), I need to schedule doctor appts for when I get back... I know there is more, but my brain can't process that much stuff right now. Plus, tomorrow I am volunteering for Cub Scouts Day Camp all day, which isn't a bad thing cause it's my birthday and its what I want to do instead of spend the day at work. Oh, by the way I also have to work all week. And what might you ask was I doing all last week and through the weekend? I am not sure, but I can tell you it had absolutely nothing to do with time management and I am paying that price right now!

Overall it won't be that big of a deal. My husband is awesome and we will get everything together that we need to. Earlier today I looked at the calendar and saw the date and also the date for our vacation and realized everything we had to do and had a mini panic attack...so this is just me laughing at myself and telling all of you...DON'T PROCRASTINATE! It never pays off in the end!

Also, super excited about vacation. We are headed to the east coast for some time at the in-laws then to a time share on the beach for the 4th of July week, then back to the in-laws for a little while, then off the Florida for some time with Mickey and gang at Disneyworld and some surrounding locations. It should be a fun month away. Yay!

A month! I'm jealous. I hope you have great beach weather!

Have a great vacation.

Also happy birthday, hope you have a good day.

Wow! A month! Sounds like good, beachy, disney fun! Have a great time. :)

Vacation planning update...

First of all, I re-read my post and it was a little misleading. I do in fact leave on Friday BUT that is for an out-of-town softball Tournament that lasts until Sunday, after which I will be back home for Sunday night to leave Monday morning for our month long gettaway to beach and Florida vacation bliss. So I do only have today (after work), and tomorrow (after work), to get things ready for this weekend trip and in turn the month long trip because we won't be able to get everything else we need to get done in just one night on Sunday when we return from the Tourney.

I believe the only thing I have left to do really is clean my kitchen, the bathrooms, and pack. I think all the laundry is done (minus the last load I will have to do right before we leave) and everything else is just about ready. I have softball games tomorrow night so I guess the cleaning will have to get done today. Also have my hair appointment today. Yay! I love vacation hair.

We did have something bad happen. My dog died the other day. Last fall my other puppy past away. We have had these two dogs for a long time. The one who just recently died, Leo, had separation anxiety really bad. After my other dog died (Benny), Leo had a really hard time being alone in the yard by himself. We couldn't get another pet for a number of reasons so the best solution was to chain Leo up so he couldn't get to anything. He would claw and scratch and bite at the door trying to get in when he was out back. Anyway, the other day the wind blew a piece of our lawn furniture in his area and he wrapped his cable around it and himself and strangled himself. He lived a long and happy life. He was a spoiled brat puppy who thought he was a people and our family will miss him a lot.

Anyway, that is my vacation update. I think (er hope) we are ready!
