I am just getting so tired of dealing with these people.

They have a piece of junk sitting next to their home, which is just 5-6 ft away from our home! Yes, our two houses are very close together. Yesterday I found out, just by searching online, that they were given 3 citations for this junk vehicle starting on July 3rd! They now have 3 citations, all which total $345, plus the fact that this car is dead, with no alternator, and no good battery, & they have expired license plates for two years now. I spoke with the parking enforecment people, and they said they spoke with the daughter three days ago, who told the parking enforecment people that she was going to move the car to a garage! HELLO???! They have NO Garage! And the car is missing the alternator, which cannot be started or moved without it being replaced. Which the family has NO money to buy the part, and has no person to put it in. These people are giving the parking enforcement people lies, and telling them this crap so they will delay them towing the car! Then they find out from ME, that this is rental property! The parking people thought our neighbors owned the home! So I was told the landlords would be next that they would contact. God only knows it that will happen!

yesteday the daughter of the owner, (her mother lives with them) freaked out and woke us up in the morning hour, freaking out because she must have found out about how much the citations are, and she thought if she went down to the DMV and paid for the car's licenses plates, they would not be towing the car.

The sad thing is that her friend was with her, since this woman has no valid drivers license to drive, and her friend has a two year old little boy. This little boy was so wanting to be with his mother, and this lady was not wanting her little boy around her. So what does she do? She picks him up by the arm, swings him around and yells at him.... "Stop It!".... :( how sad. this was all recorded on our security camera.

Ive seen at least three times in the past 5 weeks that the police were called out due to this vehicle. But it still sits there. I just want the damn thing gone! I dont want to have to look outside my kitchen window and see a piece of junk sitting there. two days ago I caught the little boy picking up our landscaping rocks, climbing onto the hood of the car and throwing the rocks over our back fence! Talk about getting angry! Then I see a tow truck yesterday pull up, walk around the car, the guy is on his cell phone, calling someone... then gets back into the tow truck and drives off... without the car!

I wish the damn city would take care of this problem! 5 weeks and still nothing has been done!

sorry... I just really needed to vent! :paperbag:

Maybe a For Sale Craigslist ad with their contact information would help.

Really, though, it sounds like it's time for a line of fast-growing privacy trees or shrubs.

I so wish I could get away with doing that on CL. I know they would know its me! LOL

We do have a privacy fence up, which is in our property line, so we cant put any shrubs or trees near that since its not on our property, it would be on their side. The bad thing is that our homes are just too damn close together. This area needs larger lots. I wish they had bigger lots for each home, but in all reality, it cant happen. It sucks. Our only hope now is to tough it out, and either wait til they can move out, or if and when I get a job, save up enough money to look into another home else where. My parents want us to move over to their side of the town. Which we would like, but its alot more expensive when it comes to homes in that area. We only have one income for now, and til I can get my appointment squared away at the end of this month with my neuro, we have to stay put for now. I have been applying for jobs, but I need to wait til at least sept 1st before I can see where things are going when it comes to my epilepsy and dr appointments.

My neighbors drive me crazy too!

They have 3 dogs that they chain up onto their back porch. The chain is maybe 10 yards long. All the dogs do is bark. They are small dogs so it's a squealing, yipping bark. These dogs are out all the time barking away, even later than 11pm, summer and winter when there's snow on the ground. My husband has even seen them out there at 5am when he leaves for work. Even my grandparends, who are almost deaf and live three houses away can hear them!

I never see anyone outside playing with the dogs. They have 2 kids, which are very good and I'm supprised, always playing outside but they have nothing to do with the dogs.

I never see anyone cleaning up where the dogs are tied up so I'm sure the dogs are walking around in their own poop.

If I do see anyone outside with the dogs they yell at them to shut up. I've seen them pick them up by the back of their neck and throw them in the house.

I'm almost positive that the dogs are pure bread so I think they got them just to say they have that breed of dog.

I've called the humane society and they said they can't do anything unless they actually see them abusing the dog.

I don't know how many people actually live in the house. It's a low income house so they probably get help with the rent from the government but there's usually 4 cars parked there.

There are constantly cars coming and going from there at all hours of the day and night. They would always turn around in our dirve way until my husband went out one night and yelled at them. Now they turn around in the house's drive way beside us.

I don't know if we call and complained to the land loard or not if it would do any help?

There have been so many other people that have lived in that house and I could keep typing and typing about how awful they were.

Neighbors just suck sometimes!!!!

Your neighbors sound just as bad as mine! Prior to us having troubles with them in June, they had alot of cars coming and going. One thing that always stuck out to us is that in the evenings, alot of cars would show up and the little kids would be outside alone. I went over one time to ask to speak to the mother and the little boy said she was inside. I went to knock on the door and no one answered. I kept knocking and finally the little boy said to come in. I walked in and no one was there. The little boy went downstairs and thats where all the adults were. Made me wonder what was really going on down there. To have all the kids go outside while the adults went into the basement? At first i had no clue what was going on. I asked my husband and his first comment was "its probably drug related". Then I got to thinking... I did see some guys pull up in their car and some of the adults, Id say in their early 20s, would come out and lean into the car to get something, then they would take off. Probably swaping money for drugs. It was then that I knew something had to of been up. When I saw the inside home conditions, and knew something had to be done for those kids, it was then I reported the weird things going on. I havnt seen the guy who was paying them $100 a month to live in their basement. based off of that, I really think he was the one who got things started with that stuff. The only reason they let this guy move in was because they couldnt afford the rent. I dont know... sometimes I wish I could just pick this house up and move it out into the middle of no where. LOL
