Hi everybody!

Im back! For those who wondered where I had disappeared to, I got rid of internet over the summer because of bills, and the birth of my baby girl. :)

Yes, you are "talking" to a new mom. Abigail was born on 7/10 and weighed 9lbs 9 ounces. :) We tried natural childbirth as the sonogram/ultrasound the previous week said she was only 7lbs. :) Ended up with a c-sec, and some very suprised docs and nurses. :) I may be biased but I think she's gorgeous. :) Once I get back into the computer groove, I'll post some pics. :)
She has a full head of hair and takes after her mommy. :) I'm currently breastfeeding, and sleep is a distant memory.

OK...gotta go. I'll give you guys a better update on Monday. :) Love ya!!

Wow Skillefer,

Congratulations with your newborn babygirl, so cute!

Glad to have you back, I've missed the yellow bird but I do like your new avatar better.

And... better stay far away from our nursery here, enjoy your healthy little miracle!

So glad you're back

She sounds just adorable...... Now that I"m an uncle I find I have a lot more compassion for babies.

Like Meetz said, it hasn't been the same without you.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Wow, 9lbs. 9oz, both of mine were over 9 lbs. But no C-section. I'm sure Abigail will keep you very busy now. Hope you get your much needed rest.

Cindy

Congrats! I love the name, glad all went well. I had been wondering what was going on with you.
My first son was 9 lb 14 oz....I had some surprised docs on that one too. So they were not too surprised when my 2nd was 9 lb 7 oz. Never had a C section
Get your rest when you can and take care of yourself too. It is so wonderful to come on and find such great new.

Welcome HOME - CWE has not been the same without you.
Enjoy that bundle of joy.

Woohoo! Congrats Skilly! Very glad to see you back and with great news. :woot:

Thank you!

Thank you sooo much! This was what I missed the most this summer. But, between trying to get used to late night feedings and learning what different cries meant, I was kept veeery busy. :) My mom came out for a visit after the baby was born and said she is adorable. I'm very lucky in that I have a mother in law that watches Abigail every day, and 2 sister in laws that are more then glad to watch her occasionally at night so that I can get some rest. Hubby's been great, although he somehow manages not to have to change dirty diapers. Hmmmmm....I wonder how he does that. Of coarse, it might be a good thing, as the last time he did change a poopy diaper he used 13 wet wipes! Now between rolling on the floor and trying to explain that a dirty diaper does not require that many wet wipes, it was a definitely a moment to be remembered.

Anyway, it's great to be back. My ob/gyn and neuro were both ok with me breastfeeding for now, so all is well. My meds levels are going to get checked again. After all, with the baby out, I may not need as much. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great summer! And I'll definitely be around. :)

It's really

great to hear that all went well with the birth, and that Abigail seems to be an "easy" :) baby. It's even better to hear that you haven't had any seizure problems since you've had her. I'm sooooo happy for you. I remember (some of it) being quite fun...and the pictures are quite funny, too.

Make sure you take tons of pictures....

Take care.......
