My fiance was planning on proposing the day after my brother passed away but decided to wait until things were getting a little more normal. He is the youth pastor at our church. My friend wanted to go into the sanctuary to record some things and practice for worship. That night we had a tacky sweater party at the youth group and INSISTED that I change out of my sweater and put on something nice.. I was very confused. I walked into the sanctuary and saw roses lining the isle and my fiance standing at the altar. I walked down and laying on the stage was a bible with the inscription "Jennifer Pearson" (my then boyfriend's last name) I knew then what was going on! I cried for at least an hour hahaha.

I wish I could post some pictures but I'm still unable to.

I must say that your dear Mr Pearson sounds like a perfect gentleman or at least a major romantic. Very happy for the two of you. We just passed 30 years of marriage and it isn't all that bad. :)

:clap::clap:Congrats!!!!:clap::clap:

congratulations! I'm sooo happy for you!

(ready to be a pw? (pastor's wife))

I sure hope so! I have been involved in our youth group (with a massive 200 kids hahaha) for a while now. Its going to be so cool being co youth pastor, plus having a very Godly husband. I don't know if I could find anyone out there as amazing and romantic as him :)
