My friend Cory Rocklin has Complex Partial Epilepsy, and I have entered a race car into a contest held by Toyota. The car is called :e:SEIZE HOPE:e: and has his pictures on the back. I'm trying to get the word out and figured this would be a good place to start.

That's

a pretty neat car there.

I'm assuming that's just a graphic of it, not a photo. The 3D gallery was pretty cool.

Let us know how it goes.........

OH, AWESOME, JOE! :-) Any positive national & international attention about epilepsy that can be spread is welcome attention. Thank you for being so concerned about your friend Cory & best of luck to you! Keep us at CWE posted on Seize Hope & the contest! Take care & keep in touch, Joe!
Best Regards,
Ann

Thanks so much. The car is doing good. We still have 12 days of voting left, so please help spread the word.

I voted! Hope it gets the word out about epilepsy.

Hi, Joe,

Welcome! What a great friend you are.

That is a GORGEOUS car! I saw both the "vote" button (and I did, and will every 24 hours), and the photo button at the bottom. Is it a photo, or a really awesome graphic? Wow... who did the paint job?! Did you guys do any of the work yourselves?

The design you see was created by me (mostly in photoshop) and the photos were sent to me via Corey's mom. Seize Hope came from alot of people including Susan Noble from Epilepsy Warriors Foundation as well as the graphic on the hood.

I'm a graphic design student at a local technical college here in my little hometown of albany, ga. My dream is to get one of my designs on a full scale race car, but when I saw this contest, I knew it was an opportunity to be a part of something bigger. I've known the entire Rocklin family, Maryann and her boys, her sister and her kids, and maryann's mom and dad for YEARS. So when I heard about Corey's epilepsy, I knew I had my idea.

So, now that I gave you the ENTIRE story...lol...yep my goal was to be a part of something BIGGER than me.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO HELP PROMOTE THIS BY POSTING THE LINK ON YOUR FACEBOOK AND TWITTER PAGES...and anywhere else you can think of. GO PURPLE.:e::clap:

Wow!~ The design is gorgeous! You have a very bright future in design. :)

Folks, the car is doing great! Please keep voting and spreading the word. Out of 13,000 cars it's 11th RIGHT NOW!!! Keep spreading the word.

The Epilepsy Later car entered the top 10 this morning.

please continue to spread the word.

11 more days to vote! And you can vote every 24 hours! So keep visiting the link.

I applaud your backing a friend in this way. We all need friends to help us in life, some need more help than others. Epilepsy can be a very hard condition for many people to understand and accept- for themselves or for others. I agree with Ann T- any positive attention that can be drawn could help many people in their daily struggles. God bless you.

Your friend is so lucky! You are doing such a wonderful thing for him! Thank you, on his behalf as well for other people with epilepsy.

Hey, Joe,

Where is the car? Maybe it's possible to drive it to one of the upcoming epilepsy walks, or some other event? Maybe just drive it back and forth and back and forth in front of the steps of congress. lol....

keep replying to this at least once a day, Joe, so it bumps the thread up and we remember to vote, okay?

Absolutely. Also, if you guys can post this link to other sites such as facebook and twitter.
