Hey everyone, My name is jade and I'm new to this website

I have epilepsy i was diagnosed with it in year 5

The medication i'm on:
1. Clobazam
2. Buccolam(Emergency Med)
3. Lacosamide - Vimpat

I'll be starting a new medication called Oxcarbazepine

i do have Seizures
1. Tonic clonic
2. Absences
I have more but i cant remember them
 
Hi Jadesamson,

Welcome to CWE! I take vimpat and have both absence and complex parital seizures. My neuro put me on the medical marijuana almost a yr. ago and I am amazed at how well it has reduced my seizures.

I think you will find many answers to the questions that seem to burn in the brain of a person w/E.
I have had E for over 50 years and am living a happy life!
