First see your doctor or neurologist and tell them what is happening to you and how you feel, then tell them you are not happy this way. Have you started taking anything new, a vitamin, antibiotic or another medication these could be interacting with your keppra. The keppra itself can give you a feeling of nausea and could be the cause itself of all your trouble.

I agree, see your doctor and inform him of these things. I have had Epilepsy for over 30 yrs but never experienced what you have described. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you. It's a rough ride, I know, and everyone's ride comes w/ it's own set of bumps!

btw, have you tried the paleo diet ?

Hello .I've had seizures for 2 years and regular keppra wasn't working good for me because of side effects twice a day. for the last 3 month he put me on keppra kr and I take it before bedtime. it's change my whole disposition. and keeping me more normal feeling with light side effects. good luck.

just checked out johns hopkins site for epilepsy. new drug called Perampanel.check it out.

Epilepsy can drastically change over time. Have you been seeing a neurologist while these changes have occurred?

Hi Sarah Hill,
I was diagnosed two years ago. I completely understand what you are going through. I was on Keppra for some time- I fell asleep all of the time so I had to be taken off of it. I understand that it is hard and I am sorry to hear you are going through this. Just know that there are people out there that care for you.

I hope things improve,
Emily

Hi Sarah,

I've had E for over 30 years and tried many meds. Now I take Keppra, 3000 mgs a day and only experience feeling tired. That sensation in your arm could be a simple partial seizure and your keppra may need to be adjusted or maybe you need to change meds. Definitely let your dr. know ASAP before the seizures get any worse.

Hang in there!

Talk to your doctor, like the others have said. During my seizures my left arm will get very heavy from the shoulder to the elbow, but it is only my left arm and occasionally my leg leg behind my knee. Maybe it is a partial seizure?
