We have a martial art grading tomorrow, and it is going to be hot here in the UK! I work there and my boss has no air conditioning, the grading is from 9 to 5 with 2 20 minute breaks and we overheat like mad!

I've told him so many times about the dangers of not having air conditioning, he can afford it but he doesn't want to buy it cause he loves his money. I've said we have young kids there and people (like me) who are susceptible to heat exhaustion, but he is just a silly moose and won't do anything about it.

Ohh to have a non paid job on a hot day. I'm leaving there soon :D Cannot wait!
 
What is your volunteer job?

BTW, it has been in the 100's F, here in California, stateside. How hot is it in the UK?

I would join another martial arts group. Be careful of your health, we are prone to heat stroke.
 
Does he at least have some fans going?
 
Hi Elly, are you and your instructor partners in the business?

That is sad that he is putting money before health. Or can he afford an air conditioner? He would actually make more money if he put an A/C in. You can get small ones.

I am just trying to be helpful. I hope that I am not being rude or insensitive.

What kind of seizures do you have?
