I'm here typing on the computer sweating like crazy! We don't have AC in the house but ever fan is blowing as fast as it goes.

I'm about ready to take off all my clothes and walk around the house naked. I don't think the neighbors would like that if they saw me walk by the window, but who know's they might? :roflmao:

i used to walk around naked all the time, my neighbor spotted me once, I waved, and then they waved back and kept on to what they were doing.
 
Getting hot on the West Coast too. 100 degrees tomorrow. I think the best way to cool off in this heat is taking a cool bath and/or just soaking my feet in cool water. When my kids were small I would sit in their plastic pool with them. LOL .
 
Heh... it was 110 today, and our A/C finally gave out. :?
 
Supposed to hit 94 here today, and it's humid too. I have a window unit AC, which doesn't do squat. I recommend taking a lot of showers -- it really helps to cool you down, especially if you don't have AC. Stay cool everybody! And stay hydrated!
 
im so shocked as to how hot it is where you all are ... i was talking to *silat* and we worked out that 110 degrees F is roughly 44 degrees C ... here in england where im from in the UK the hottest ive had this year so far is 27 degrees C ... and even that i couldnt cope with :/ ... but hearing how hot it is there i think id die from it ... wouldnt know how to cope !!!!
 
The heat fries my brain and the humidity scrambles it.
Finally got a portable AC/dehumidifier that does just what my poor brain wants - cools it down and dries it out ... ahhh ... I can think again!

Just sittin' still waiting for this heatwave to pass :)
 
Happy days for me. We have central a/c and I need the house temp to stay at around 65 degrees. But with this release of hells wrath the house is only cooling to 71 if im lucky.

Dad brought me a window unit a/c and installed it in the bedroom today. It is a chilly 66 in here and I'll be sleeping good tonight! I haven't had a decent night of sleep in over a week.

Be careful everyone and try to stay cool. Heat is such a trigger for me.
