Hi morgan86, You are doing this right. Ask questions, learn. Welcome to our forum. It was made out of love by Bernard for his wife. You will find a lot of warm people here.

Hi morgan86, and welcome!

Depending on the kind and frequency of your seizures, disorientation can be related to the epilepsy, and it can also be a side effect of the meds. You say that you think it's a recent thing -- that could mean that your epilepsy is changing, and so you may need to revisit your medications. It could also be due to something else all together -- you should call your doctor and/or your neurologist to talk about this.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. There's great stuff and people on this site, places to chat and vent as needed. Look around get comfortable.

Best,
Nakamova

Hi morgan86, welcome to the forum. :hello:

... is it normal to get disoriented alot.? i mean aLOT..

No, it's not normal. You should talk to your doctor about it. It could be a neurological problem, but it could also be a cardiac (blood pressure) or other (mineral imbalance, blood sugar, etc.) problem. Either way, you should try to get it resolved IMO.

If the dizziness is the result of TIAs (mini-strokes), you don't want to let the underlying condition fester until you get hit with a big one.

... oh gosh i have SO many questioons. do i just keep asking them here? ...

You are welcome to continue asking questions here if you like. This is your thread.

You can also use the forum's search function (see link at top of the page) to find previous discussions about various topics and just jump right in whereever you have something to share or ask.
