Since I was taken off Clonazapam December9th it's been two months for me.
I was shocked when I went 2 weeks sz free. So next month and that's a big maybe if I make it till the 10th, my neuro will start weaning me off Phenobarb.

WOW! Congratulations! Since I have been here I don't remember you saying you have been off very long. I am SO happy for you!!! I hope all continues well for you. :)

Wow, what wonderful news!!! LESS seizures and LESS medicines sounds like total win! I hope this trend continues for you. How did you convince your doctor to let you try weaning off/stopping some of them?

The way I convinced my neuro to let me wean off Clonazepam was it was his idea to start with I was on 2 MG and slow over the years got on less.I was down to 1 MG .5 AM .5 bed and I just kept at him about how tired I was all the time.

Last time I saw him he said to stop it and if my sz's stayed doing good he'd try reducing phenobarb when I see him in March. He see's u as long as need be.
He works with his patients.:twocents:

Yay! I'm thrilled for you Belinda.

Good.... may you continue.... I've been two months seizure-free, also. Keeping fingers crossed. Hope to go another month seizure-free.
