I have epilepsy. I have had it since 1996. My EEG is abnormal. For many of those years my seizures were controlled. I believe I am having myoclonic seizures now and have an appointment with my doctor next month.

Hope you are all well.

I'm here to 'listen' to anyone who wants to vent and will help as much as I can.

PS-I love the bird flapping its wings. I can't look at it for more than a few seconds without getting a headache but do like it and think it's pretty.

Hi Torres15,

Welcome to the forum. Just like you I had myoclonic seizures they would happen when I went to bed and in the morning when I got up. My Dr. did a sleep study on me where I had to have an e.e.g. and e.k.g. at the same time along with being on camera around the clock and she found I was having seizures in my sleep 1-2 hrs. before I got up in the morning. If you notice you feel more tired in the morning you may want to ask your Dr. to do a sleep study. I started taking vimpat for these seizures and they have stopped now I only deal with absence and complex partial seizures. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!
