No, I don't look like a short, dumpy penguin .... and I rarely wear suits, but I always liked Opus and "Bloom County". Guess that ages me!

I have suffered from grand mal seizures since I was a teenager. I still have to take medication for it (keppra), but have been seizure free for around twenty years now.

As I've grown older though, I've developed cervical dystonia and essential tremors along with a slight balance problem. :twocents:

Hey Opus! I mean sam99! Welcome to CWE!

Great to hear you've been seizure-free so long. Lousy to hear about the side effects from your meds. I've found that the Wii is great for working on your balance...

Best,
Nakamova

The balance it's a little annoying but people spend lot's of money for that effect. Jee..

Welcome.

Hi Sam:hello:

Welcome to CWE! Hope you get as much out of your experience here as I have. There are lots of nice, knowledgeable people and lots of good information.

Also, congratulations on being seizure-free for twenty years; that gives us all hope!

By the way, I still have my Opus doll on my bookcase though he's a little dusty and missing his bow tie:)

Hey Sam

It would just be wrong for someone with a Bill the Cat avatar to not say "hi" or "welcome" to someone with an Opus avatar.

Hi & Welcome!!
