Hi everyone, I'm a 39 year old from down under in New Zealand. I've had Epilepsy since I was a toddler and dealt with complex partial seizures for the next thirty years. I've lost count of the different medications I've been on although Tegretol has been one of the most prominent. I was fortunate to have the opportunity for a temporal lobectomy in 2000 which was life changing for the next few years. Though seizures made their return in a nocturnal nature for the last several years. I'm currently on Tegretol & Lamictal and major seizures occur every 4-5 weeks. Mild ones occur sporadically though they are often stress related. I've read the forums often and finally signed up to communicate with people who understand and deal with similar experiences.:twocents:

Hi, and you've found the right place to come and talk and get some help from people that deal with the same things that you do.

I am almost guarenteed to have a seizre if I'm going through a stressful time. If something happens that I get stressed out about all my husband and I do is just sit and wait for that seizure to happen.
