I think I may have mild lactose intolerance because if I drink/eat anything that contains too much lactose in an empty stomach, I get diarrhea. It's kind of impossible for me to eat cereals with milk in the morning because of that.I can't drink Carnation's breakfast shake or Ensure. Does anybody know of any other drinks that will fill me up but won't make me run to the bathroom in the morning? I don't have time to make eggs in the morning because my class on Mondays starts at 8:10 AM so I have to leave home at 6:30 :(

I drink coconut/almond milk, or just almond milk, both in the unsweetened varieties. I have them on cereal or in my coffee too. There's no lactose in them.

I've tried coconut and almond milks, but I don't like the taste. I like soymilk though :)

Eating cereal early in the morning makes me nauseated :( So I need something that I can carry in my backpack, something other than granola bars.

Do you like hard-boiled eggs? I usually hard-boil a bunch of them in advance and keep them in my fridge. They make good "grab-and-go" foods.

milk alternatives

I also am lactose intolerant, i usually grab a banana some cantelope or mangos, a few ice cubes, some protein powder and almond milk, stick it in a blender pour it in a cup to go and wahlaaaaa, simple quick easy and tastes good:banana:
