I went to the emergency room on Tuesday morning thinking I could just get a shot for the rash, but I was having trouble swallowing, fever, achy kind of flu like and I had to stay until Friday. I still feel weak but much better than before. Now I have to start all over! Whaa. Hope there is a better med for me.

Oh wow. :( How long had you been taking the med???

I am on my 2nd week, and I am so nervous about getting that skin rash I hear so much about.

Hope you feel better soon. ***hugs***

Hey, I was on my third week, this was horrible. But it was just a severe alergic reaction. I'm sure this isn't a normal reaction. Is everything going well with you? Cake

So far so good....but then again I am only on day 10 and on 25 mgs. I haven't noticed any side effects just yet, knock on wood.

Except maybe for achy knees...or that could be from the rainy weather. :p

Great, Maybe you won't have any problems at all. But if you notice any rash at all call the doc right away! Don't play around girl! I look freekish!! I could not buy a date right now. Let me know how it goes, I see the doc Mon and start all over again.

I'm on

Lamictal again, and so far, so good. I'm at 75 mg, both am and pm. It's been several months now since I've started it....and I'd been on it before, up to 100 mg, 3 times per day. I've not had any reaction, either time. But we all are different, which is something that we all need to keep in mind.

Good luck in finding a new drug, LF. That's no fun...

I've been on Lamictal since 1996. I have no plans to stop taking it. Since I started I have not had a GM.
