Are there any Christmas songs that just get under your skin?

Little Drummer Boy is one I've never liked.
 
I love Little Drummer Boy Cathy... .. Good King Wenceslas....... hard song to sing and even harder to understand, except the meaning is good, about collecting alms for the poor.
 
"Here Comes Santa Claus" ..... the tune and the same line over and over gets under my skin....... not that I don't like Santa.

Chaz, A BIG yea that. For the longest time I thought it was Boy George. Doesn't matter tho, I hate it regardless!!
 
That George Michael one really gets on my nerves too! I get irritated also by the Mariah Carey song "All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuuuuuuu...baby"
The more poppy the Christmas carol the less I seem to like it.
 
Hey Chaz and CathyAnn, I'm with you on Last Christmas. :razz2: Where I was living about 9 years ago, it was inexplicably popular. It was on the radio every half hour; I'm not exaggerating. That should be against the Geneva Convention rules against torture. :|

The Paul McCartney song is the winner by far. The kids beg to listen and then you have a multitude of voices singing wonderful sickening song.
 
Nope The one song I hate more than any of them is Grandma got run over by a reindeer
 
My name is Dominick, so I've had to endure 20 some odd years of hearing a certain Christmas song sung to me for a month straight. I won't even speak its name :p
 
My name is not Dominick, but I hate that certain Christmas song as well. And I heard it for the first time only 5 or so years ago.
 
I think there's only one christmas song i like!

I especially dislike any of the religious songs. Which is ironic considering the meaning of the season :P

Did you ever try this version?
It not quite as dull as other versions.

As for myself I'm not to keen on "Oh Come All Ye Faithful".

Well that was until this version came out.
