Hi All, Activus/Watson has discontinued making Levetirectam ER. I do not want to take Lupin made because it causes me to have seizures. Does anyone else know any other manufacturers for this generic Keppra???? Sturg

Thx Nakamova, I am having CVS Pharmacy check this out. Right now the only manufacturers that they have in stock is Lupin which I tried a few years ago & gave me a breakthrough seizure. That is why I am searching for someone to give me a thumbs up on a different manufacturer. Ever AED affects every single person differently, as you know. Thx again, Sturg

Hey John,

I take Keppra, not the generic brand, tho. I've been taking Keppra (3000 mg/day) since 1999 along with a small dose of Topamax and have the VNS. My epileptologist only prescribes the name brand, no generic AED, for me. I've experienced side effects from Keppra: depression, dry mouth, and a more, but it helps control seizures for me.
