Hi Taxi Mom,

There's a type of "pseudo seizure" called physiologic nonepileptic seizures which can be triggered by some sort of change in the brain — typically a change in the supply of blood or oxygen rather than electrical activity.

My uneducated guess is that the loss of blood supply could be causing the feeling (or lack of feeling) in your legs...

hey i have these too. trust me going to the doctors is pointless cuz they do test and everything turns up negative and then they get pissed at you for "faking" and then well you have to pay them for being a$$holes. the best thing to do for these is to have the seizure then go rest like other seizures. I have had many of these. I treat them like a grand mal. i just have everyone get everything out of my way. then i rest after it. one time i couldn't even walk without a can for a couple of days.
