Make a wish is sending milo away for six months to be trained as a seizure response/alert/and pain management assist dog. I'm excited to have him trained but i'm going to miss him so much. he goes everywhere with me and, at 9 weeks, i have already taught him to sit, lay down, shake hands, roll over,and stay. i love him more than anything. But in six months, i will be able to bring him everywhere i go.

Good news, bad news, eh? But really, ultimately, it's good news. Will you be able to visit Milo during the 6 months?
 
Milo is adorable! No wonder you will miss him. He's a real sweetie. It will be hard to go without him, but the time will fly and he'll be an amzing help to you when he gets home.

He also seems very smart. He's going to make a great service dog!
 
He's a very fast learner; well done for the work you've done with him so far!

Wow, six months is a long time to be without him. You'll miss him.
 
He is the sweetest little guy!! I can't wait to see video's of him when you have him back. Be strong, it will be hard, but you know he is coming back and will be able to always be with you!
 
ik. and i also know that it may be easier to maintain a 3.8 GPA if he's not chewing on my books the entire time lol
 
I am so proud of you! Awsome! Its not fair. Good is comming. I have epilepsy, My son has epilepsy but has a brain like yours. You are so gifted. He has Aspergers, scoliosis, 1 kidney and another disorder. But he is so smart. Who knows what the universe holds for you. But I wish I could meet you. I admire you and my son. He annoys me sometimes lol, and he stays with his dad for a few days I miss him so much. And I can't wait till he gets home. I know theres a difference but just think about when he comes in wagging his tail all happy to see you. So cool!.
 
I am happy you are sending your puppy for trainging. I have a guide dog (whos in the picture) who also does seizure work. We found out while in guide dog training at the school that he would pick up on things with me. So there was an instructor that worked with clients with seizures at another service dog school who observed my Umbro and also taught him a few things that helps during my seizure. he does particullary well when he is guiding me and we are walking. I think he is very observant of my body and physical behavior. He tends to know before i know or before my aura warns me.
He is also a hearing dog. I am blind and hearing impaired and also have seizures and my doggie has been the best thing for me.

Umbro cost $75,000 in training etc but i didnt have to pay for anything, not even the flight and stay for a month up there. GEB is an awesome school. Its only for guide dogs though.
Im happy you found a school for him to go to. Normally they have you come up after training to be observed together..
