Hello all, :hello:
Wow, I haven’t been on this sight for ages. Celebrating the fact I haven’t had a tonic-clonic now for 2 years. Yippeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! :woot:

Just a quick query: I have been getting nasty sharp pains coming and going in my head for a couple of months now i.e. once / twice a day. They last about a minute. All I want to know is, do you think its normal for any person to get mini pains in their head or do you think it could be epilepsy related? I used to get them known again but seem to be getting them more lately.

And a saft question: Is it normal for a person with epilepsy to still feel afraid of having an attack even though they haven’t had one for over 2 or more years? I only have to feel off and I still get afraid I may have a tonic-clonic even though I know my tablets are working fine for me. Sometimes I feel I am just being silly.

Thank you all

Best Wishes
Debbie

Unless there's an obvious cause (like neck problems) the mini-pains are worth mentioning to your doc. They aren't necessarily due to epilepsy, but they could be related, e.g. if they are triggered by something similar to what triggers your seizures.

You're not being silly when you worry about having a seizure. I've been seizure-free for 3.5 years, and I still get that nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach from time to time.
