Hi everyone! Just finished celebrating my big boy Aiden's 3rd birthday, already!! After everything we have been through with him it's so amazing to watch him enjoy his day today like any other kid his age. He had such a great day, presents with us in the morning, a party with his best friends with a Woody (Toy Story) cake and then dinner at his favourite Hungry Jacks (Burger King to you guys). We have never eaten in there before only had take away so we went with his best friend so they could play in the playground and they had so much fun. Tomorrow at day care he will have a Buzz cake so he can celebrate with all his little friends there too. There were times where it felt like we would never be able to have a care free day like this with him but we are so blessed that we have ended up with a lot more good times than bad. Aiden will be seizure free for 2 years next month so next year we will be weaning him off the Keppra. We have already taken him off Tegretol so fingers crossed he can come off all his medications without any trouble. The dr feels confident that he can so let's hope he is right. Anyway just wanted to share the celebration with you guys. Here is some cake, not as pretty as my Woody cake but it's still tasty... :cake:
