One thing I dont understand... Why on earth would neighbors want to make their neighbors yards look like a dump? All we did was go out to enjoy an afternoon with the kids, and we come home to find a piece of chewed pizza in our yard.

Of course I assumed it was the neighbors who we have had problems with... but I didnt have any proof. That is, not til I checked our security cameras. There right on the camera that shows our drive way, where their drive way is next to ours, is them getting into their car, and the mother coming out of their home, walking to the passenger side of the car, and taking a piece of pizza from her mouth, and tossing it over their car, which bounces off are drive way into our lawn. She then opens the door, gets in and they take off.

Now there is no way that could be "accidental" at all! :soap: Im so sick of coming home to see candy wrappers, cups, cigerette containers, etc all in our yard. Of course nothing was ever caught on our cameras til now. But once we saw that, I immediately notified the police. An officer was sent out and looked at the video and confirmed that she is indeed litering trash on our property. They took the video for evidence, and also took pics of the pizza that was left there. Of course they were not home, but the officer did try to contact them, and was not sucsessful. But for now, Im at least pleased to know that we have caught them doing this and maybe, just maybe this will be a wake up call for them.

I highly doubt it though...

But still... Im sick of having to deal with this family. Now I dont know what the procedures are in how they go about ticketing for litering here in Nebraska, but I sure the hell hope something is done so they wont do this crap again!

Disgusting!!, Littering is just vile, especially food waste, what if you were on hols and came back and there were rats everywhere not healthy for your kids, some people just need too grow up darling!! be the bigger person :) you did the right thing phoning the cops, urghhh imagine what her house is like lol

These neighors we use to be "friends" with. Their kids played with our kids, til their youngest who was almost 7, just a couple of weeks shy of turning 7, assulted our middle son, who was the same age as him. I considered it as child neglect on the parents part for it happening, because the child was dx'd with ADHD and needed to be on medication to control his behavior issues. His behavior was so out of control, that the school got the child on video during class time, when the child started cussing at the students in his classroom and calling the teacher and student aid all sorts of bad names. Then he get wide and started to attack everything around him. They had to clear the classroom out in fear he was going to hurt one of the kids. That there, they said needed a drs attention. So during last years school year, they were required by the state to get him the medical attention he needed. Then comes summer time, and of course the parents are not going to put the kid on the medication during the summer when he's not in school. That was when the assult took place. Just a month after school was out for summer, is when their kid got pissed and saw my middle son pick up his scooter, and without any warning, the kid takes a huge chunck of broken rock or what looked to me like a part of a broken brick and threw it at the back of my son's head. Blood was rushing out everywhere. The parents defended their sons behavior and said it was my son's fault for his actions that what caused the throwing to occur. I seriously lost it with the mother the following day. Of course I was tired from spending all night in the ER but I just got word from the dr that even just alittle bit further away, would have been his temporal lobe area, things could have been alot worse than what they had been. Reality then set in and my anger came into play and so badly wanted to give it to the parents of the child.

I was in their home prior to this assult taking place, and lets put it this way... I wouldnt allow an animal to live in those conditions.. yet alone a human being. Two kids in there home... ages 7 and 13. The parents, and the grandma. All of whom to me, with the conditions Ive seen are hoarders. I got so concerned for the safety of the kids that I reported the conditions to Child protective services. The windows in the kids bedroom wasnt secure and being on the second floor, and the mattress being on the floor, the kids were hanging out of a broken latched window, and 3/4 of their body was hanging out. The parents knowing this, did nothing about it. These parents are not fit to be parents at all. I feel so bad for the kids.

Jesus Christ that is awful, that is severe neglect you can't just all of a sudden stop medications for things like that us she crazy lol, I mean kids will fight and argue there kids but if they need help too control behaviours they should be getting it all year around!!!

Hopefully police will follow up your report and see the house and hopefully report them too the right services

I dont know if they will look into the house issues since the last time I reported it was in July 2012. The house safety issues were so bad that whenever I heard a noise outside, I thought it was that little boy getting into something, or else falling from the that top bedroom window. It had me on my toes half the time. I finally spoke with someone who said that the landlord of the home had responsibilities that should be taken care of. They even had a city inspector come to look at the home, and said there were no issues, but when I was told this, I took a picture of the back bedroom window which was broken, still having broken glass in the window area, where the kids could easiy get into and cut themselves... and this was then forwarded onto the city inspectors office again. Next time we saw the landlord replacing the window, and the wired fence going all the way around the home. It was literally hanging in pieces prior to that, and was probably a safey issues with the little kids. I see that for about 5 months now they have had no garbage service. Their trash can was picked up and we once saw a huge amount of black trash bags in the yard, then one mornign they were gone. But weeks later, we saw the father loading all the garbage sacks into his companie's moving van! So he's using his work's truck to take their garbage somewhere. In the meantime, I dont know what is going on inside of that home.

As for what happened today... after the police were contacted about them littering... we left to get errons done, and while we were gone, we saw the family return on our security camera... then comes the officer afterwords. There was no reaction since the officer must have gone into the home, or was back towards the upper front porch area. But he was there for a good five minutes, and had a clip board with him, so Im assuming they cited them for littering. Now its just a matter of seeing how they are going to react. Hopefully not in a violent way... they are kind of known to be the kind of people who want to get back at you for doing this or that to them. Its silly when they are the ones causing all the issues themselves.

It could be worst! It could be dog doo! I'm sorry you have to stress about nieghbors I have that problem too.

Oh I know... heck a couple of months ago, we left to get somethings done and came home to find a dirty diaper laying in our drive way! it had been thrown there and you can see the poop in it! It was sickening! I knew it was from the neighbors friend's kid. She has a two year old little boy that they treat so badly, and still is in diapers. Our security camers were on the rotating method then, going from camera to camera, so we missed exacly how the diaper ended up getting to that area, but the neighbors were out the entire time. It just doesnt show WHO put it there. Thanks to the roation of the cameras! lol Now when we leave, I always aim for the driveway camera, since its closest to their home and our home and if they do anything stupid, you could get more on that camera than another one.

We just need ten acres, with a castel with a mote! Lol! Then we would have piece and quiet and no stress!

We had a neighbour and he needed reminding about picking up his dogs poop, I told him we have a problem and soon he will have a very different problem unless he scooped the poop.

I'm not violent but can get my point across effectively.

Some people are scum, some forget they are humans others just need to be hit with a big stick lol.

:agree: 100% with this! These neighbors of ours dont seem to have the functioning skills needed to required the basic daily duties.. which in their case requires them to please not litter. :)

Damm I've just re read the bit about the rock hitting your child, I really cannot understand people like that. Damm they would've seen another side of me rarely seen, and to blame your child whom was injured would've of fuelled me further.
I telly hope he is better now!.

Respect to you gal, things will change for the best I'm sure. Just takes time.

Yeah I can only focus on the good, and hope for the best. Out of all the people on our street, these people are the worst! They rent this home, so they dont care about what goes in it, nor what it looks like inside or outside. It seriously didnt suprise me to see her throw her piece of pizza onto our yard. That lady and the husband both has some major issues. But we stay out of it, and let the police handle them.

Yeah when it came to the rock or brick throwing incident, I swear, that motherly side came out of me and I let that mother have it! for her to defend her own child for his actions and tell me its my own kid's fault for her son throwing a rock at my kids head is pathetic! I can see she cant accept anything in life as her responsibility, even her own children.

Yeap, Welcome to the Cornhusker State! We'll trap ya here! :roflmao:

Nope they could get released, nothing worse thn a injured animal!.
What about superglue a snapped key in their door lock ever three months, they'll get pi55ed off
