Hi. Newbie here, just came in to share what's going on because I'm too nervous to talk to my family about it. I feel like I'm going nuts. About one month ago I was started on birth control pills. The first week I got all crybaby like because me and hormones don't work. Then my upper lip started twitching off and on all day for like 5 days with right sided facial numbness and tingling. I was diagnosed with bels palsy but I had no droop. Then my lip stopped twitching and my chin started up, and the off and on face tingling started to moved down to my right arm and leg. Back to my gp I went. She said I was having complex migraine without the headache but wanted to consult neuro. She also ordered a brain MRI which was normal. Neuro wanted to see me right away so two days later I am in there office my chin went on twitching about every 15 minutes that day and tingling with it. She suggested not migraines but possible sensory simple seizures since I don't lose any memory. She set me up an EEG 2 days later. I had my EEG Friday symptoms were very much present more than once during EEG. The Dr kept coming in asking if I was ok. After 2 hours and blinky lights and relaxation it was time to go. He asked when my neuro follow up was I said in a month and told me no, he would have my results to my neuro on Monday and to make an appointment next week. Then the receptionist said please be careful getting home. Now I'm a wreck, symptoms still occurring over and over everyday and today I woke up with one heck of a headache. Whew sorry so long, now my question. If this is epilepsy with simple partials can I really be getting these symptoms everyday 10-15 times for over 3 weeks now? As I'm writing this the twitchy chin and tingly feeling travels through my body but not always just on the right side. Ugh. Confused and nervous.
