I joined today and just wanted to say hi. I restarted trileptal this week and am a bit freaked out by this whole thing. I had brain surgery last September to remove a cyst causing hydrocephalus. My doctor had originally diagnosed the seizure symptoms as limbic system seizures, or temporal lobe seizures. Then when the hydrocephalus was discovered, we thought that was what was causing my seizure symptoms. After brain surgery the symptoms were completely gone for about 6 months. I was not on any meds for them during this time. Over the last 2 months they have been coming back more often. So she had me re-start trileptal this week. For now at a very low dose so we will see what happens I guess. I have an odd question but will ask that later once I figure out where to do that.

Welcome to CWE and I hope the trileptal starts working for you as you climb up. I just replaced my tegretol with that med tonight and im climbing up on it as well.

Best wishes
