Hi folks,

Just found this site. I had epilepsy since age 5 and am now in my 30s where I've been seizure free for the past six months. My seizures only became serious in my 20s so I had to quit university. My memory was badly affected but has improved after some Ayurvedic treatment that also seems to have stopped my seizure activity.
I currently live in the UAE so if there are any other UAE residents on this site, I would like to know.

Hi, don't live in the UAE, but would like to know more about the ayurvedic treatment. I have had epilepsy for 45 years and while my seizure's are under control, my memory is crap. If that treatment help's your memory, I would appreciate some info.

Help with Memory

Hi K35,

I got my Ayurvedic treatment in India not UAE. Ayurveda is gaining considerable popularity in India and even the USA I think. I'm not sure about the UK. I dont know where you live but you should be able to find Ayurvedic doctors near you somewhere.
My treatment involved taking 4 medications(2 liquids and 2 pills) spaced out over 4 times per day. They didnt taste great but it wasnt too bad. I'm still not sure how well it helped my long term memory but it has done wonders for my short term memory since I dont repeatedly forget the last thing I was thinking of like before.
I was initially suspicious of natural medicine at first but now firmly believe in it since it has helped other family members. My father was going blind in one eye and private doctors said there was nothing they could do, but Ayurveda helped him recover completely.
Look up options for Ayurveda near where you live.
