Hi! I just joined the site to try to get some advice on my situation.

This morning I woke up with a really horrible headache- as I have before. But my boyfriend told me that around two or three in the morning he woke up because I was twitching- he described it as vibrating- and that my eyes were wide open but I was unresponsive. I don't remember anything he is describing, other than a vague memory of him trying to get my attention.

I do not know if this has happened before but I am really freaked out! Hopefully I can get some advice from this site.

Welcome to C.W.E. To give advice can be dangerous but to try and help is all I can do. You need to get your boyfriend to write down every little detail he can remember this is important as you will need this when you visit your doctor. Second you need to write everything down that you did before and after and how you felt afterwards bring this with you as well. Until you get to see your doctor you need to keep a record of all the things you do, eat, ect. There can be a lot of things that could have happened and I think the only person who can diagnose these things is a doctor. Sorry.

Thank you for the reply and I will definitely write everything down. I dont know when I an see a doctor but I will try to soon.

Hi mootey, welcome !

It's possible you were experiencing a nightmare or parasomnia (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasomnia). Or it could be something like nocturnal seizures. As Fedup says, a doctor can help sort things out, and it can help to have a record of any unusual symptoms -- how often you've woken up with headaches for example.

I am new as well. Just had first grand mal seizure randomly on the car ride to my grandparents house for Easter.
