Hi there. It's been a while since I've participated in a forum about epilepsy, I have no reason to avoid it. My name is Lauren, I live in Utah and I've been trying to control seizures since my diagnosis in 1997. Grand mals tend to come and go randomly as they please and I have partial seizures almost daily. I think laughter is a great medicine. After a failed temporal lobectomy in 2004 and a long discussion with my dr about how I've been on every available anticonvulsant drug that's an option for me I think I've finally accepted my refractory diagnosis.
