Hello, I am Alex. I am diagnosed with tonic-clonic, as well as complex partial seizures. Currently taking Lamotrigine. I have been reading up on this site, and I think I have found my online home. I hope to meet you guys soon.

:)

Hi! I'm Janellie and I have absence seizures. And I feel alone and I hope that you feel welcomed with the site! As much as I hate my life, when I read other peoples posts it makes me feel better and not so alone. If you need to talk here!

Hi Alex and welcome to CWE. This is such a wonderful group and we're glad you'll now join us. :)

Hi Alex.I've been here about a month. I've been having partial seizures for 3 1/2 years but was only DX'ed last month. I also am on Lamotrigine. Just increased today by another 25mg. I now take 50mg in the AM and 25mg in the PM. I saw the neuro today and she said the goal is to get to eventually get to 100mg in AM and 100 mg in PM.

Hi Alex,

just wanted to add my welcome to the others'. I'm on lamotrigine too...
Make yourself at home!

Best,
Nakamova

Hi Alex,

I have two online homes. I spend quite a bit of time on an auto-racing forum and here. I visited here to look for help where the auto guys couldn't. Just loved it so much.

Welcome.

glad you're here alex (and MAB you too) :)

lamotrigine myself as well, 150x2 since august 2011, and will go off august 2014 if i am seizure-free one year after brain surgery (hell yeah!!). it's been a decent med, don't find alot of complaints; the start can be tough for some with rash but watched carefully it's not an emerg problem (learned this first-hand). best of luck!!!!!

*smile* i love your reference to cwe being your 'online home'... what a great way to put it. and so true. myself i have doubt i'd have mentally/emotionally made it through massive seizures and the surg without great friends and learning here. a second home for sure.

:hugs:

I know what you mean about on-line home. I spend a lot of time here. I have learned so much from everyone.
