I'm completely new to this forum. But, I wanted to day this;
If you are looking for an epilepsy medication with zero side effects once your body can fully metabolize it I reccomend Lamictal. Or, its generic form of Lamotrigine. At first you will need to take your original meds and the Lamictal together. With the Lamictal in careful small doses because your body needs to learn how to metabolize it. I'm sixteen so this might not be the same for you. When I first started the Lamotrigine, I had insomnia badly. Like, going to sleep at four in the morning. As the dose got higher this gradually stopped. I have a little trouble getting to sleep but, I'm falling asleep near eleven p.m. now. Also, I can't remember my dreams. Now, the medicine I'm switching off of is Oxcarbazepine and, it was making me have horrible mood swings and making me reckless. It also makes me tired and dizzy. For me, the Lamotrigine but itself has No side effects. Is yeah. If you're interested, I remccomend talking to your neurologist.
