My son has silent seizures. He can typically talk through them but his eyes tell it all. Recently he has been complaining of numbness on one side. He is 15 and he is slowly starting to pay attention to his body to know when a seizure is coming soon. He is starting to experience numbness on one side - arms and legs. Anyone else experience this? Also, he is on 1200mg ~ 3x a day ~ of Gabbapentin. I am a nervous Momma!

I have tingling, pins and needles sensations before my seizure begins. They start in my left hand and foot, and spreads up the left side of my body, to my face, where it feels like the roof of my mouth is being attacked by a million needles. Ive found this to be part of what a simple partial seizure is.

Is he consious through out his seizures?
