Well, it's official, my family has the swine flu. We hall have been sick for the past 2 weeks with every orifice spewing, fever, headache, aches, pain chills and now chest congestion, pinkeye and sore throats. Finally felt well enough to get me and the girls to the doctor this afternoon. Yeah, more prescriptions and a new humidifier!

Yeah, it's been fun listening to sick kids whining for 2 solid weeks, but at least we are sharing activities together, like group vomiting, bathroom relays and crying jags.

I managed to get to the store and stocked up on more soda and Popsicles. Now excuse me while I attempt to get 15 seconds of sleep until the next child needs attention......

Oh my BB, that's bad news. :(
I do wish you all a full and quick recovering.
Take care!

Thanks, I'm so tired. Kids are on amoxicillin and OTC Mucinex. I can't take anything because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis medications. They sound a bit better tonight.

After we left the doctor's office I headed to the drug store to get the scripts filled, Zoe got out of the car and Rachael never got her seatbelt of when BOTH started vomiting. Oh geeze! Crossing my fingers Rachael will sleep better tonight. I'm already tired of the Popsicles!

Hi Birdy

So sorry to hear you and your famiy arent well.

Awwwww

BB, I hope things get better for you soon. I will be thinking of you, and sending up positive thoughts and prayers for all of you to get rid of that nasty stuff SOON!!!

Meetz

Yeah, thanks I know that. But Zoe has a heart mummer and a sore throat so antibiotics are a given. Rachael has pink eye, both have upper respiratory infections. They seldom take antibiotics so it's really a precautionary measure. I have the most excellent pediatrician, he knows my girls.

They are doing better today. Fevers are much lower and I got 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep! WOOT WOOT!

I'm jealous...4 hours of uninterrupted sleep?? I haven't had that in ages.....
Seriously though, I'm sorry you and the girls got sick..and happy that your slowly feeling better. :)

Well the worst is over. The residual exhaustion is a problem. Just have no energy and get very tired very quickly. Worse flu I've ever had. Now I'm gonna go take another nap!
