Hi everyone! I have been away for a long time. How is things? I have a lot of catching/reading up to do! Just wanted to say hi and make a banana dance, I miss the dancing banana...

Hey Aicila, welcome back! I hope you are doing/feeling well.

Things are going ok. Ups and downs. Divorce is finally over, still working through custody issues, but I have temp custody so that is a plus. I am still in the military but my medical package is working through the chain and hopefully that will be closing soon. I am still fighting the ratings for disability and who knows how long it will take, but I am hopeful it will be soon I can get out and move on with the next chapter of my life. I am still having mini seizures off and on and woking on getting the meds straight. About a week ago I started the slow ramp up on lamictal so in about 4 more weeks I will be on Vimpat, Lamictal, and Tompamax but once Lamictal is full strength I will come off Topamax. So far no bad side effects with Lamictal except sleep problems but I'm hoping those get better with time. So overall things aren't looking too bad, just continuing to push through! Its like I always say, if you can't join them, dance like a banana! Well actually, I don't think I have ever said that, but I think I should start...

I had sleep problems with Lamictal too, but those went away after a few months.
