We got the cutest little addition today to add to our family! She is a 6 week old blue heeler/ german shepard mix! We named her Brilee Elizabeth! :)

Kristen,
Your puppy is gorgeous. I'm sure when she gets bigger she will make a great little guard dog.

Too cute! My dog would love to have a play date. She is a sucker for puppies. I hope we can see more pictures of her as she grows

Adorable! 3 months in with our baby (puggle named Ducky) and I'm still amazed by how much fun they are, and how much you love them (always had cats, and love them but dogs are so awesome!)

Looking forward to stories of silly puppy antics!

Cute!!! <3

About time to get another girl in that house. :)

Yes! That was the first thing I told my husband after we picked her up! lol

I'll for sure let you all know how she is doing! So far, I think she has her days and nights mixed up! Last night wasnt really the best... she kept waking up all night! But at least we know when she needs to go out! She does this little wine, and when we took her out, she went both #1 and #2! So far today she has had some food and water and has been out a few times for me. But I can see she is wanting to sleep! oh no!

Are you crate training her?? If you are, hopefully a good thick blanket over it will make it nice and dark and den like for her and keep her sleeping though the night! I'm sure it will get easier too when her bladder is bigger. They grow so quickly!

Any separation issues?

We have a kennel for her, which she slept most of the night through last night in, it was around 4:30am that she kept barking and yelping. My husband took her out to potty before getting ready for work, and she went. But then she was laying on my chest the rest of the morning til 6:30 when we had to get up. I dont see any issues with seperation. She's been quiet mostly, but does like to play alot.

awwwwww puppies are so cute but they are such hard work. But it will be worth it in the end

Good Luck

Thank you everyone! :)

We pronounce her name by saying...Br "I" Lee... :)

She looks so adorably cute! Have fun! I'm sure the boys just love her already.

Yes the boys adore her! The past couple of days they have been fighting over who gets to hold her! lol. But I can see she is getting use to us. She loves snuggles, and when my husband walks in the door from work, her tail is going a 100 mph! She just lights up when he walks in! They love to play with each other! Yesterday she spent quite a while wondering out and about in the backyard just snooping around. She really enjoyed it. I was hoping it would make her tired and she would sleep all night! lol but that didnt happen! lol

She is precious! I just got a 10 wk. old Mini Australian Shepherd for my birthday. His name is Bailey (Irish Creme, Coffee, & Mocha-Color).
