The family is pestering me to give them ideas for birthday presents for me (birthday is in about 2 weeks). Last year it was a car battery, Christmas was a fry pan that dosen't stick (that was GREAT!!). The car does need ball joints and the house needs a roof and insulation and a gutter and on and on and on and on, but that may be too practical and out of the kid's piggy banks. They want something to wrap up, so trips to the spa are out (oh, rats!). Any suggestions for kid-budget presents for Mom?:ponder:

How 'bout

fuzzy slippers and a matching robe? You know, those memoroy foam slippers? And the reallllly warm robes? Winter is coming.......

In my house I go shopping and bring home what I want. My husband wraps it and I pretend to be suprised. Works for me!

Give the kids a couple of pounds (or dollars lol) and send them to the pound shop (dollar store). The stuff they come back with might be tat, but it's cheap and they've thought about it. Last mother's day I got a purple fairy figure that said 'best mum' on it. It may be cheap, but it's the sentiment, and I'll keep it forever...
