Hey there, has anyone used or know about pregabalin? This is my first entry and i'll probably have more to say as time goes on but for now i'm curious about the drug pregabalin.

I'm a little anti meds due to past side effects but i've been told about this one with hardly any side effects and i'm curious.

Cheers

Hi Lainsta, welcome to CWE!

From what I've read about Pregabalin (also known as Lyrica), it's one of the newer drugs and has some of the similar side effects (dizziness, blurry vision, etc.). Haven't tried it myself, perhaps someone else will chime in. In general the rule of thumb with and AED is that there's no way to know whether it will work and what side effects you might experience until you try it...

I actually tried it but found 4 days later i had a reaction to it. I didn't try a smaller dose just came off it altogether. I'm thinking a smaller dose might be good to start with though. Thanks for replying.
