I got on Lamictal yesterday. I had thought it was pronounced something like LAm-ick-tahl (CAPS representing the accented syllables)
but my neurologist pronounced it luh-MICK-uhl.

I'm also in FEN-ih-tin, or so I thought, but I've heard it pronounced something like fen-ee-TOE-in, and somehow else that I found odd, fen-IT-owin something

I have a hard time even trying to pronounce "carbamazepine" when I see it.
car-baah-MAAH-Zuh-peen?

how do you pronounce the drugs you see talked about on here?

Car-baa-maz-ee-pine. Or teg-re-tol
Kep-ra
Phen-ee-toe-in
So-di-um val-pro-ate or epi-lim
La-mick-tal or la-motro-gine

I remember going to the neurologist and feeling quite dumb for my mispronunciation of automatism. It was spoken by myself as though I worked in a car shop.
I have found two good websites that provide audio:
http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?word=phenytoin&submit=Submit
http://edcc.libguides.com/content.php?pid=305091&sid=2712937
The link at the bottom, provides Mercks manual is used by people studying for medicine. howjsay is simple and quick for many English words, it is only good for generic medication names.

Here is one that provides simple written pronunciations if audio isn't available.
