I was diagnosed with epilepsy last June and I've been lucky enough to only suffer two tonic clonic seizures in my life. I've been on Keppra for about 7 months now. I am very active in karate, running, strength training etc., so I regularly work out to a pretty high heart rate. The last two weeks after karate sparring, I've noticed that my left pupil gets dilated and will not shrink with changes in light, but returns to normal by the next morning. I haven't noticed any changes in my vision, nor felt off in any other way, but the reason I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the epilepsy is that the only other time that has happened was right after my last seizure. Has anyone noticed anything similar with vigorous exercise or know anything about the possible cause? Thanks for any help.

Hi, ndlec, and welcome to CWE;
A finding of unilateral pupil dilation can be benign, an indicator of increased intracranial pressure (which can occur with some exercises), it can be associated with lesions along the optic nerve or even an aneurysm. For these possible more serious reasons, your symptom requires medical assessment sooner rather than later.
