Providing an "Advanced Notification" so those
who just stop by sporadically will know ...

I always begin mine on Friday night, so that
we are already "all set" ... We are "Daylight
Savings Time" fans here ...

So remember - Set Your Clocks AHEAD on
Saturday night before you go to bed!

The clocks here in the UK and the majority of other European countries do not spring forward until March 29th.

Aw crap!

Birdbomb, I like your response.

We do not need it any more. At first, in CA, it was for the farmers, now they have machines to do their work. Then they said, it was for the children. So, they did not have to walk to school in the dark.

Now that they have buses and parents to take them to school, what is the purpose of it? Do we lose an hour or gain an hour of sleep, brain?

We lose an hour of sleep. I really don't see the need for this, plus it is confusing as not all of the US does it.

Not all of Canada does it either

but it got really confusing when Bush changed the dates for the US & our Prime Minister followed. Now we've got the dates that North America change their clocks & the dates the rest of the world do it.

Hello, Everyone!

If most of us are springing forward an hour this Sunday, then I think Mother Nature should be Springing right along with us. I'm tired with winter, at least for this year...Hey, Meetz, does your part of Indiana spring forward this Sunday?

You know,

I'm not sure, since I recently moved here. I will have to find out though......

It's annoying here in Indiana, because part of the state changes the time, and part of it doesn't. How's that for messed up?

Sounds like BC. I went up north to work for a week in the winter not knowing they don't change their clocks. I was an hour early when I could have been sleeping.

Hi jgbmartin

I lived in Kentucky and we were moving back to CA. Some counties in Kentucky changed their times and other counties in Kentucky did not. We did not know what time it was when we changed county lines. We had to ask for the time. That was in 1965. I do not know what there schedule is now. It is ridiculous to have the time change. I have trouble knowing what time it is any way.

I do know that at least 24 years ago in HAWAII they stop chaning the clocks back and forward:bjump:. It bad ehough there is a big enough time difference between East Coast and HAWAII.

Hi hawke86

The states and counties have no reason. Some states and counties have dropped it while other still have it. It is just another way to torture us.

We need to keep time the way it is and quit changing it. I agree with you feast. It is torture, extreme torture.

:bump:

Reminder - Tonight's the night to "SPRING"
forward on your clocks! Set it 1 hour AHEAD
before you go to BED!

:crying:CAN`T I KEEP MY ONE ONE SLEEP?????????:crying::giveup::giveup:
