I logged in today for the 1st time since 2019 and realized life got a bit busy. So much has changed but so much is the same like Epilepsy. Same meds, same Deja-Vu seizures that appear when they appear. The only new item is an increase frequency of migraines and a special new migraine that occurs after a Deja-Vu.

I got let go from a position and got another job that was remote and got me working so much that I stopped coming to this site. Lots of hours and driving to Nashville every couple of months then Covid came and by April I was unemployed thanks to Covid. That was a 4 month nightmare of looking for work and then I got lucky enough to find a place 60 miles away that was in my field and that was willing to pay and let me work from home 3 days a week. I've discovered that no mater the company this position and industry is always high stress, pressure, and at times insane. I've been here 5 years and we even went on vacation somewhere 2x.

My kids graduated high school in 20 and 21 so that was a nightmare for them with the oldest have all the things that are fun about senior year taken away. They both also graduated with 4-yr degrees and at least 1 is working in their field but to be honest the is a high demand for high school English teachers.

On the downside we've lost a lot of people to everything but Covid or so it seems. Many things have been good but the curse of Epilepsy is still kicking me. I'm here with the kids being adults and more time available so hopefully I can get back to seeing if I can add anything of substance or be helpful at all. I see names I know and see names no longer here. I just can't believe the time got away as much as it did.
