Pooch In Engine Surprises Pickup Owner

woof.jpg

VACAVILLE, Calif. - A pit bull escapes a "ruff" situation after being found stuck inside a pickup truck engine on Tuesday. It happened in the city of Vacaville, about 30 miles west of Sacramento.

The truck's owner said he made the discovery when he went add some power steering fluid to his vehicle. Walter Witthoeft popped the hood and said he saw a pair of eyes staring back at him.

He realized a pit bull had somehow found his way into the truck's engine compartment.

The pooch growled and Witthoeft went and called police. He said the officers who arrived couldn't believe what they were seeing either.

The dog had shredded the engine compartment, in an apparent attempt to chew his way out of his situation. Witthoeft said the pooch had bitten through the wires, vacuum hoses as well as gas lines. He said he suspects the dog got into the engine sometime Monday night and stayed there until the hood was popped.

The dog was safely removed and the truck was taken to the shop.

I thought dogs only chased vehicles that moved...

We saw this on TV this morning. I've seen where huge snakes or big lizards go in engine compartments to stay warm, but never a dog. That dog was really revved up!!! :roflmao:

2 questions

1) Is that a 1 'dog'power engine?

2) Did the cat get away?

:ponder:

Ummmmmmmmmm...............

What on earth?

Was he chasing a cat??????

I"ve heard of putting a tiger in your tank but hound under the hood???

What a PINHEAD!

Chinese man sticks 2008 needles in his head to mark Beijing Olympic Games

In a bizarre publicity stunt, Dr Wei Sheng pierced the decorative needles in his head, face, hands and chest in the five colours of the Olympic rings.

The picture of Dr Sheng’s was taken in Nanning, Southern China, and demonstrates the patriotic fervour among the Chinese people in the build up to September’s Games.

Another Chinese man had the symbol of the Beijing Olympics tattooed on his forehead, the Games’ mascots on his chest and neck and various other images, including dragons and the Great Wall of China, tattooed all over his body.
