I finally started my dental work. They removed 5 teeth yesterday. It was an intense hour of yanking. Fortunately my pain threshold is still very high.
Two Advil and I slept through the night.
Problem started in the morning. Out of nowhere I got freezing cold and couldn’t stop shivering. I climbed back into bed and couldn’t relax my body. My teeth were chattering. If I really focused I could stop for a minute. This went on for 1/2 hour. I finally passed out and slept most of the day.
Sure does feel like i had a seizure. This would be a new type I Don’t like it one bit.

I'm sorry that you had to go to the dentist and that you may have had a seizure. Start keeping track and take note if when you
wake up in the morning you feel tired even though you got a good night's sleep because I would wake up exhausted and that's
when my Epileptologist did a sleep study on me and they found I was having seizures in my sleep and they would happen about
2-3 hrs. before I would wake up. I was put on Vimpat and since then that form of seizure stopped.

When it comes to taking care of the teeth after you brush your teeth rinse your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide it tastes
rotten but it keeps your teeth white and healthy. My dentist told me to do this yrs. ago and I have only had 2 cavities.

This is dental work I’ve been putting off for two years. It’s still strange that I’m not feeling pain correctly.
I’m mostly upset about the seizure. If it even was one. I couldn’t stop shivering and I was conscious. That’s never happened.
I have a prescription for Valium, for when I’m feeling Manic. I took one during it because I was looking for any relief. It may have helped. I also have a rescue inhaler, but I wasn’t sure what was going on.

My wife did just remind me that I had the chills when I got Covid. There’s a flu going around, but I don’t have any symptoms.

I know what the postictal state feels like at this point.

Hi Heavy Kevy,

My cousin is a Dr. and he has dealt with covid since it broke out. He told me to start taking zinc 50 mg. once a day
to help fight off the covid so you may want to try that just to play it safe. I also know that zinc helps reduce seizures.

I really think that I had a seizure. After sleeping most of the day yesterday. I was able to get a decent nights sleep as well.

I’m feeling much better today “mentally”. Still no pain from my 5 extractions. (Very Strange).
I probably shouldn’t have done them all at once. It was a horrifying experience.

When I get that "chilled to the bone" feeling and a heavy blanket doesn't do anything to warm me up, I like to take a hot bath or shower. That usually does the trick.

Maybe not a coincidence. Could be an infection from the surgery.

I'm sorry to hear that your wife is sick also. The both of you need to rest and drink a lot of hot
fluids or do like my Grandma did and have a shot of moonshine before bed. That always wiped

The bad timing with going to the dentist continues.
Had a follow up appointment today. They are fitting a “crown” and prepping for more work.

Last night at some point I had a seizure and wet the bed again. I must have gotten up and changed, then fell back asleep on the couch. Probably wouldn’t have known otherwise.
My nocturnal seizures have become a little more frequent than they were.
My recovery time is minimal and the SZ are staying nocturnal. I don’t think I’ll be changing my medication yet.
Still no pain, and the dentist was impressed how well I had healed from my first visit.

The cough is lingering from the flu. NyQuil was my “moonshine” and it was working well. I didn’t take any last night and had trouble initially falling asleep.

I'm glad you made out well at the dentist. Yesterday from Idaho to NY and north there was an electromagnetic storm
going on for 24 hrs. I had 4 seizures yesterday and that may have been why you had your seizure. I know each time there
is a lunar eclipse or an electromagnetic field above 3 HZ. I end up having seizures.
I use "Aleve" cold and flu for my moonshine. Take it easy and I hope your wife is feeling better also.

Hi Sue,
Thanks so much. I hope you’re feeling ok after that cluster of seizures. I believe weather is a factor. When there are big one day temperature swings. I seem to notice.
I’ll try the Aleve.
