So it's about 1:30 AM where I'm at, and I went out to my garage to make sure the doors and everything were shut and locked before I went to bed.

Walked into garage.
Looked up.
Small plastic bag floating in the air.
Bag is doing circles around the center of my garage.

*que panic attack*

Stream of questions begin:
"Am I seeing a ghost?"
"Hallucination?"
"Am I going crazy?"
"What am I seeing?"
"Am I having the weirdest seizure ever?"

:ponder:

Upon closer inspection, there was a piece of tape stuck to the bag, and the largest Junebug I've ever seen was stuck to it. It was flying around trying to free itself from the bag. I couldn't see the Junebug at first because of the angle I was standing at...

False alarm everyone!

Freed the Junebug, released it back outside where it's supposed to be, locked up the garage and the rest of the house, and now I'm sitting here laughing at myself. :D

Hopefully this moment of randomness gives someone a good laugh!

Roflmao... what's more funny is when I hit new posts to see what's up... this one " I thought I saw a ghost" was just above this one " looking for a man when you have epilepsy " ... so I was already chuckling... hehehe

:wave:I could picture the whole thing... this is funny as heck! And who better to happen to... Mr. POSITIVE himself. :roflmao:

Yes. a very good laugh! And it feels so good to not be alone in the, "is it real? or is it my brain messing with me?" :D

Haha I was hoping others would find it funny :D
I wish I had a picture of my face when I saw the bag... I bet it was priceless :)

.... and laughing once more.... yes priceless. I can only imagine. And what are the odds. Bag, tape, bug, silat.....

I tend to operate under the assumption that if something weird can happen to me, it will happen to me. :D

Love it! Only problem....did the June bug not know that this is July??

HAHAHA!!!! AWESOME!!

June Bugs rock!! They're Hulk Hogans of the insect world.

Junebug = Beetle. They can be kinda big (up to 1.5") and noisy when they are flying around but otherwise harmless. Unless they are haunting you.

Silat...thanks for sharing the story! Too funny. I've done the same thing with my bathrobe hanging on my door in the middle of the night. Who's there?
We have to laugh at ourselves, right?

OMG, I would have taken off running, you're very very brave, I am not too afraid of ghost, but I'm sure as heck scared of "BUGS"! LOL
Glad it was you and not me : )

Honestly, after the intial shock of seeing it, before I saw the junebug, my instincts from martial arts kicked in and I dropped into a fighting stance... :paperbag:

I should have thought back to my days as a kid growing up with Pokemon.... Fighting moves are ineffective against Ghost types. ;)
