I am off to rock with the rigid digits tonight in my home town!!!!

I wonder if Speber has heard of them?????

My ex Bf introduced me to Stiff Little Fingers (a 70's group) a couple of years ago and am I ever pleased he did, they are awesome, when you first hear their music it just sounds like a load of noise, but when you take time to learn the lyrics, you'll find that they have a deeper meaning.

They stood up for peace in Northern Ireland when everyone else was afraid too, they were the voice that dared. Their lyrics are all directly related to war and peace, I listen to SLF when I am having a 'weak' moment and they soon make me recover my strength with their extremely powerful lyrics.

I am currently feeling a bit sad due to my ex BF not making the trip with me tonight, but nevermind, at least I am going. Even if I will suffer with strobes.

Here are some of the lines from my fave SLF song that have a strong meaning, including my signature lyric. The song is "Each dollar a bullet" and is well worth having a listen to if you get a few mins, the you tube address is below

"Now you've never stood on Belfast's streets
And heard the bombs explode
Or hid beneath the blankets
When there's riots down the road

Each false word a bullet
Each victim someone's son
And Englishmen kill Irishmen
As surely
As if they fired the gun"

I can't wait, 2 hours to go yipppppeeeeeee
