Hi all

Just a quick question, in the last few days I have been experiencing some bizarre sensations that I havent had before. I cant think of a particular trigger for them happening except I'm very tired at the moment for no real reason.

The best way I can describe it is as an almost, overawareness of specific points on my right arm and right leg. It's like I can feel and am very aware of odd patches on my arm and down the back of my leg. It's not painful but is just an unpleasant, sometimes tingly feeling. The feeling then radiates up into my right shoulder and disappears. I've also been experiencing a sensation in my head that lasts for less than 2 seconds where its like my brain is being lifted up and I feel lightheaded and unattached and then it goes. No idea!! Anyone had anything like this before?!

Amy

I have

had some bizarre sensations go up and down my leg before, some of them due to nerve issues from a trapped nerve. It might be wise to consider if there is anything that you have done recently that might have done something like that--if not, perhaps a phone call to the doctor is in order.

It is possible, too, that you are experiencing some type of seizure activity that needs to be discussed with your doctor. Begin documenting when it happens.

If it continues to happen, especially only when you are tired, it may be a clue of some sort for the doctor. Have you eaten anything at those times? Been drinking? Think about that.....

Thanks for your reply. I have been especially lazy the last few weeks and have done very little exercise so wouldnt be inclined to say its from a trapped nerve from a sport injury or the like. It's been happening on and off the last few days and all I've done is go to the cinema, do some coursework and lounge around at home so nothing strenuous!

Ahh, but

if you suffer from E, and are photosensitive, or have other triggers such as sleep problems or food intolerances they can sometimes make you have ...odd feelings.

Omg, I thought I was the only one to have that feeling, where my 'head lifts off' its not unpleasant but it's not pleasant either, it's weird
