Hi guys I hope all of you are well! Recently I haven't been well, I'm still seizure free but I'm experiencing headaches 24/7 7 days a week that are that bad that I can barely stand up without falling over! The pain is terrible ! I have also passing out quite a lot without warning and just falling to the floor! I'm also massively tired all day every day! When I get home from work I can barely keep my eyes open! I've recently swapped meds to tegretol 400mg twice a day, can it be the tegretol? Someone asked me if I had multiple sclerosis could this be it? Has anybody else experienced anything like this? Thanks guys Georgie x
 
I have to question whether or not you're seizure free if you're "passing out" and falling to the floor along with headaches. Did you change the meds suddenly or was it a slow change? This passing out could also be a seizure of some sort. Have you reported it to your neuro? You may have to adjust the meds again. Plus some of the AED's can cause migraines, also. Call your dr. ASAP.

Guys! I'm seeing my neuro on Wednesday and will mention everything! I that maybe the passing out was related to the epilepsy the head headache is absolutely killing me ATM I think the pain is making me pass out! I don't cope well with pain I've got a list I need to discuss with my neuro! Thanks guys will keep you informed !
 
Make sure you are writing all of these things down for you visit on Wednesday. Don't forget to let us know what you find out!
 
Hi guys! Went to the hospital yesterday, and my neuro is sending me for a 48hr EEG I'm having that done 25th march, he also referred me to the emergency eye casualty due to my complaint and double and blurred vision, they carried out several tests and everything looks normal other than the fact they found spots all over my eyeballs. They are going to do more tests to find out what this is but overall I got quite a few answers !
 
I am glad that you went in. Let us know what else you find out. I will be thinking of you during your 48hr test :)
 
Depends on the set-up, and any health concerns -- sometimes they wire you up and send you home, sometimes they want to keep an eye on you the whole time.

Hi, I know I am a little late in responding to this post but I'd just like to let you know that I am on tegretol for complex partial seizures and have only recently been diagnosed so I am still trying to get my dosage right. I am on 600mg Tegretol atm but will be increasing the dose soon because I am still getting too many break through seizures. Each time I increase the dose, I seem to get 24/7 headaches for a few day and then they seem to settle down.

Hi guys! How is everyone? I'm still no better sadly but hey ho I'll get there! My EEG went well and I'm now awaiting results! Will keep you all informed!
 
Hi everyone! Only just got my EEG results! How is everyone? So my EEG was normal so my neuro has prescribed me some more meds I Willet you know how they work for me!!
 
Hi everyone! I was recently prescribed propanalol for my 24/7 headaches! Has anyone else used this medication? I've been using it for two weeks but am not seeing any signs of my headaches easing :-( can anyone give me advice?
